sudo unable to initialize policy plugin

Hey, I am trying to install mysql and thereby create database file and play with it. I made use of $ sudo apt-get install mysql-server

But I got error as : sudo unknown user: root and unable to intialize policy plugin

MySQL is already installed and ready to use -- check out the "databases" tab for the connection details.

It looks to me like dlib installs simply and easily from pip: http://help.pythonanywhere.com/pages/InstallingNewModules/
