HI, I am created flask API. It worked some time when i search query worked some time but in that same time given the error "ssl.SSLError: [SSL: DECRYPTION_FAILED_OR_BAD_RECORD_MAC] decryption failed or bad record mac (_ssl.c:2560)" then this came i have to go and reload the web . please help me for this.

Hi, can you confirm where you are seeing this error? (eg: from your browser? from your webapp code error stacktrace? from when you try to curl/connect to your website without using a browser?)

Also check your webapp error logs- it seems like you have some errors you need to resolve there.

now its working perfectly i am downgrade the python version 3.8 to 3.6 and changed the mysql modules connection, i think mysql connection is the problem because i changed all the codes to different way, removing the mysql connection from init files etc. Now webapp working. Steps i did: 1. downgrade the python version(if downgrade version apps upgrade to new version) 2. checked exactly what did i do to came error message 3.changed the code 4.always check with error log

I am still getting this same error, but I dont get it in the first stage, it happens somehwere in the middle of the code, like initially the requests work fine but as soon as the request hit a stock exchange website it shows a bad recorded mac here, can you help what can be the cause of this. I am running my code in python anywhere terminal, so if I need to set up a SSL certificate, how should I do it there?

Can you show the full traceback error message?

same thing happens to me, seems to be a good connection and inserts into the database on an initial insert request. then subsequent insert requests get: SSL error: decryption failed or bad record mac .

any fixes?

What is the code trying to do when you get that error? What is the full traceback?
