The MySQL server has been down for a good 30 minutes now, I have several users asking what is happening with the site (it is being used by schools worldwide). Is there a way to check on why the server is down beyond the Database tab that only says "Server Error :/ this should not be happening, contact someone..."

It's back on. You heard me loud and clear. Thank you. Still, is there a way to let us know what;s happening on your end so we can advise users on ours?
Yes, we had an issue with one of our servers and it's fixed now. Sorry for any inconvenience. Generally we inform about any scheduled maintenance downtimes, but if something needs a quick fix we can't always predict that.

Server Error :-/ when creating a new web app i get "Sorry, there was an error connecting to the server. Please try again in a few moments." kindly help me with that. thanks
We had an issue with our internal API which let to those errors -- it's been addressed and everything should be back to normal now. Sorry for any inconvenience!
