Hi, please check out the help page or give us more details on the issue you're facing.
I received this message from the host. I have no idea how to make the changes in the code and I have no one here who can do that.
Your account "curacaochronicle" used to use a system image called "earlgrey" to run your code. A year ago, we emailed you to let you know that we were going to remove this system image, and we sent further reminders six months, three months, one month, and just over a week ago.
As of today, "earlgrey" is no longer available and your account has been updated to use a newer system image, "haggis". If you haven't already updated your code to work with this image, the update is likely to require changes, as otherwise your code may no longer run.
The system image is essentially the version of the underlying operating system -- it determines which system libraries you have available, which versions of Python, and which pre-installed Python packages. "earlgrey" was released a very long time ago, and was based on Ubuntu 16.04, with support for Python versions up to 3.7. The image we have moved you over to, "haggis", is the most recent one that supports Python 2.7 and 3.7, but it also supports versions up to 3.10.
If you are not prepared to make the changes, you will need to find a new webmaster that can do the changes for you. We are happy to answer any questions you may have, but we are not going to do the migration for you.
Well that is why I am on this forum trying to find someone to help me, but you guys don't give me a chance.
This forum is probably not the best place to look for the new webmaster.
Hi @curacaochronicle. I can help you migrate your app. I am a developer with over 5+ years of experience in deploying and managing Python/Django web apps.
