Thank you.

Thanks for confirming that!

It happened again just now. why does this problem occur repeatedly?

@kraserver We are in the process of modernizing our storage architecture, your data happens to be on the older server type which displays this kind of erratic behavior. We don't see this behavior on newer types of servers, but the process of moving users' data accross storage servers is complicated so it takes time.

i got it. thank you.

So, when will that work be completed? I love pythonanywhere's service and have been using it well so far. However, recently, due to occasional server and file system errors, users of my app are dropping off, and I can't do anything about it. I want to continue using PythonAnywhere, but I'm worried that these problems will keep occurring. If you could let me know when the work going to be completed, it would be very helpful in responding to these issues.

We need to wait until the data is fully migrated to a new style server and it's a lengthy process -- we hope it to be done this week for the server your data is on, but we can't provide you with precise ETA. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hello,

I am experiencing multiple issues with my account on PythonAnywhere:

Web section malfunction: In the "Web" section, the option to restart the web app is missing, along with most of the menu buttons that were available before.

File download problem: While I can see files (like log files), when I click to download them, nothing happens.

Web app form issue: The web app I created on PythonAnywhere partially works. The first web form responds correctly, but when I click the "Submit" button, nothing happens, and the process doesn't continue.

Could these issues be related to the ongoing server migration or file system errors that have been previously discussed? I'd appreciate any advice or assistance in resolving these problems.

Thank you, V

Do you still experience those issues? It's likely it's related. Have a look at our blog post with some more details.
