I have set up a plan and have already paid for that plan. So after increasing the disk space will you have to pay the whole amount again or just pay for the number of gigs increased?

If you change your account settings in the middle of a billing month, you don't get charged at all for the extra features that month -- your next bill will be at the higher rate. However, you will need to enter your card details again while upgrading the account, so that we can set up the new payment plan.
