I am trying to install the djangorestframework. however I am getting a permissions issue. I really will need it in order to setup my django-angular project. for a demo I have to do. please get back to me at your earliest convenience. I will also need to update the version of python and django on the VM. looking forward to hearing from you.

Does this link help? Also, be sure to setup and use a virtualenv for your webapp when updating django versions.
