Greetings everyone!

I started learning django in the current version wich is 1.5, and i've noticed that it has lots of diferences from the vesion 1.3 that pythonanywhere has installed. For an exemple, the structure of the web apps folders on version 1.5 are arranjed diferently, you can check this on the djangoproject web page. My question is: When pythonanywhere changes is django version to 1.5 will all the web apps that where designed using version 1.3 crash?

Hi there! Well, the good news is that when we upgrade, 1.3 web apps definitely will not crash. Keeping everyone's web apps up and running is our top priority.

The bad news is that arranging things so that existing 1.3 web apps are safe after an upgrade is tricky -- which is why we haven't upgraded yet. We have a pretty good idea of how we're going to do it, but there are a few more steps along the way before we get there.
