I noticed that when I make files in my directory it automatically uses the python 3.5 interpreter how do I change it to python 2.7 interpreter when working with uploaded and created files in the online directories.

There are two options:

• If you're going to be running some files in Python 3, and some in Python 2, then you can put a special "hashbang" line at the start of each file to say which version you want to be used.
• If you're certain that you're almost always going to be using Python 2.7, I can update your account to default to that Python version. Let me know if that's the option you want to go with.
